Hello! I'm Nem, and this is my blog about le club de hockey canadien, a.k.a the Montreal Canadiens, a.k.a the Habs. I created this website a year ago as a fan project of sorts, inspired by the many game review-slash-react videos on Youtube. Evidently, I am not a Youtuber, I'm a blogger... so I blog. It's kind of more involved than I thought it would be, so I had stopped doing it for a while. But! My plan this year is to write at least a small review of every game in the 2026-2027 Montreal Canadiens season. Hopefully acheivable.
I mean, it should be. I'm cutting my workload in half. I used to watch as many Canucks games as I could and that was part of the project. Now that my fandom for that has lapsed, I should be able to do my reviews more easily. Not getting into that though, hah.
Anyway. I've been watching hockey since beginning of 2024. When you put it like that, it sounds new, still. In the grander timeline of my life, it's definitely recent, which doesn't lend me any credibility, I know. It's been an intense falling in love though, and I hope it comes across in my words. I love the Habs, and in some ways I feel sad that this all-consuming love I feel hasn't been with me my whole life. Shame, shame! And I don't even have the excuse that I couldn't have discovered them until later in life! I'm literally an MTL girl!
Still, all that aside, I hope you enjoy my thoughts - I'm just here to have some fun :]
